Friendly staff. Nice accommodations for a short stay. Super convenient to the bus. Would definitely visit again!

Good dorm beds and basic cereals and bread for breakfast. Staff never got our message about late arrival even though we had called as requested on confirmation so she was unhappy.

Very affordable! Clean and quiet. Leah and Jenna were awesome and super friendly. The staff told us about fun activities happening on the island. I would recommend this hostel to anyone going to Martha's Vineyard.

Clean hostel. Helpful staff. Beds are comfortable enough. Coffee and cereal are provided at breakfast. Rooms are hot as hell in there sometime though. But they provide every room with a box fan.

The worst HI I have tried so far. It's in the middle of nowhere and there is only 1 bus that stops there every hour. There is a shortage of power outlets and fans in the room (and they're not necessarily close to you bed). The staff member that checked me in was not very friendly and failed to give me some relevant information, such as "there is no food delivery here and the public transport stops running at this hour, so plan ahead regarding dinner". Instead, she rudely offered to sell me pasta and pasta sauce for my dinner when I realized it was too late for me to get food somewhere. When I asked for an extra towel to take to the beach, she refused and told me to buy a towel in the city. She also advised against renting a bike because she thought it was inconvenient but failed to mention that I could rent a bike and have it delivered and picked up at the hostel at no extra charge. The free breakfast was very sad. I know that these are usually very simple, but this one was horrible. There was no juice, no coffee (they didn't make enough for all guests), no fruit, and the bread was frozen. There was also a party going on really late at night right by the bedroom and I was kind of shocked with the complete disregard for quiet hours. There were also no lockers in the room which I thought was weird but ok. In addition, there were only 3 showers and 2 toilets for a 10 beds room. This wasn't a problem during my stay but this ratio is low in comparison to other hi. Also the showers weren't as nice as they usually are - they have curtains instead of doors which makes them less private and with less space to keep your stuff. I wouldn't recommend this hostel. It might be the cheapest option in the island and that might be enough reason to stay here, but it is not up to HI standards.
